Beat the Buzz Naturally – A Summer Garden Companion Awaits

6/19/2024

Dear Seasonal Friend,

If you’ve spent any time outside lately, you know the black flies are back in full swing, swarming just as the garden hits its stride. Over on the blog, I just shared Buzzing in the U.P.: A Seasonal Guide to Black Flies and Natural Defenses—a grounded, nature-loving walkthrough of why these biting bugs show up when they do, and how to keep enjoying the outdoors without reaching for harsh chemicals.

We’ve leaned into what the land provides and crafted a naturally fragrant, alcohol-free Tick & Black Fly Spray made with witch hazel and an intentional blend of essential oils. It’s a staple for us before every walk to the woods or pull of a weed—and it's now available at the Farm Market Stand for anyone seeking a more natural way to stay bite-free.

Curious to learn how peppermint, lavender, and even pine resin come together to make your summer a little more peaceful?

Here’s to cleaner living, grounded choices, and a garden full of good things.

With gratitude and bug-free blessings,
