Why I grow chemical‑free, nutrient‑dense food for our community

2/12/2026

Hello,

As I was ordering seeds for the garden this year, I began to think of you and the families who visit the farmstand. I just published a blog post about why I choose organic, non‑GMO seeds and chemical‑free growing methods, how I build living soil and nutrient‑dense produce, and what that means for the long‑term health of the people who eat this food.

I grow with intention: no synthetic pesticides, no engineered seeds, and a focus on soil health so the food I sell, and the same food I feed my own family, is clean, flavorful, and nourishing. The post explains how reducing pesticide exposure and supporting the body’s natural detox pathways with whole, nutrient‑dense foods helps lower long‑term risks and supports resilience. I also share the practical steps I take—seed selection, composting, seed starting, and gentle pest management—so you can see exactly how your food is grown.

At the farmstand, you’ll find fresh produce and seasonal flower bouquets. I sell thoughtfully grown food and goods, so this work can keep going and continue to serve our community. With each purchase, I invite you to hands‑on workshops, fermented foods, seed saving, and practical ways to live closer to the earth, so you can take these skills home. You can find recipes on my website and How to Video's on our YouTube.

If you’d like to reserve a box, request seedlings, or sign up for a workshop this season, reply to this email and tell me what your family likes to eat and which days work best for you. I’ll be scheduling farmstand days and community events soon, and would love to include you.

Thank you for supporting the farm. Growing for you is my passion, and I look forward to sharing another season of clean, nourishing food at Fox Paw Farm.

With care,
